The hotel’s sustainability initiatives span energy-efficient technologies, water conservation, and waste management. Key efforts include:

    • Energy Efficiency: Installation of solar panels, LED lighting, and motion sensors in guest rooms.
    • Urban Farm: A rooftop farm growing over 60 varieties of produce, supporting the hotel’s farm-to-table dining concepts.
    • Plastic Reduction: Elimination of single-use plastic bottles through filtered water systems.

These initiatives reflect a deep-rooted commitment to environmental stewardship, seamlessly integrated into daily operations.

BCA Green Mark Super Low Energy (SLE) Certification

Awarded in December 2024, this certification recognises buildings achieving over 60 per cent energy savings. Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay achieved this through innovative energy-saving measures and renewable energy solutions.

Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification

Attained in February 2024 as part of Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s multi-site certification, this award aligns the hotel with global standards in sustainable tourism, covering areas such as community benefits and environmental protection.

    Green Globe Certification

Granted in July 2024, this global certification requires compliance with 44 criteria and over 380 indicators. The hotel’s annual audits ensure a continuous commitment to sustainability, covering energy, water, waste, and community engagement.

    Pioneering a Greener Future

Guests can also enjoy distinctive dining experiences, including award-winning modern Chinese cuisine at Peach Blossoms.

Operated by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay is part of a growing network of sustainable hotels, including Parkroyal Collection Pickering, Singapore, and Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Group’s emphasis on biophilic design and eco-friendly practices positions its properties as leaders in lifestyle luxury and environmental responsibility.
