On March 8, 2024, at the Multipurpose Hall of the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Malaysia (CILTM), Women in Corporate Aviation Asia (WCAA), Centre of Women Advancement and Leadership (CWAL), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) in collaboration with Women in Aviation (UniKL), Malaysian Professional Centre (BIM) and HAWA Malaysia will be organising the Symposium Inspireher: Women’s Unity in Logistics and Transport with the theme Inspire Inclusion: ‘We Inspire, We Impact’ in conjunction with the celebration of International Women’s Day 2024. Keynote address and opening remarks by the Honourable Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Chairman of HAWA Malaysia.
According to Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah, President of CILTM, a symposium titled “Empowering Woman in Professional Bodies” will be discussed by four panelists from the industry and professional bodies. Additionally, to celebrate women’s contributions in Logistics and Supply Chain, six awards will be presented to outstanding women icons in their respective fields. The awards include Women in Aviation, Women in Maritime, Women in Rail, Women in Land Transport, Women in Logistics: Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, and Women in Leadership and Advancement. Besides, there will be booth and micro-business exhibitions highlighting women entrepreneurs will be featured as an inclusive focal point to inspire women to excel.
