Leading marketing consultancy-meets-agency, Entropia Group, has appointed Malaysian marketing all-star, Syahar Khalid as its latest addition to an already impressive leadership line-up. As partner for integrated media, Syahar will report directly to Entropia founder, Prashant Kumar.
He will be tasked with translating actionable trends and insights into media strategies and executions that drive curiosity and conversations for Entropia’s clients.
Syahar’s appointment adds to his extensive portfolio of work with some of the top players in the region’s marketing ecosystem. Commenting on his appointment, he said, “Both consumers and technology have evolved significantly and will continue to do so. Prior to his appointment at Entropia, the Malaysian marketing veteran was the managing director of programmatic advertising and audience-focused marketing solutions company, The Studio by CtrlShift; and led the global digital transformation and acceleration of Malaysia Airlines, as well as Nestle Malaysia to grow their digital investment and eCommerce revenue share. He also actively contributes to the Malaysian marketing industry, having served as a past council member of the Malaysian Advertisers Association, and board member of the Malaysian Audit Bureau of Circulation.
