KLCC Runners Group (KLCCRG), Malaysia’s largest running community, today announced a partnership with BitGym from Los Angeles
With the current Movement Control Order (MCO) being extended, we are restricted from exercising outdoors. But with BitGym Virtual Running App, it’s definitely not a restriction for us to exercise!
BitGym takes our members running around the world with a stunning catalogue of interactive trail and road tours. Take your morning jog along the cliff-side path from Bondi to Bronte beach in Sydney; or take a stroll whilst taking in the beautiful temperate rainforest and granite peaks of British Columbia.
You can even gather friends to run the high mountain peaks and deep volcanic valleys of New Zealand’s North Island and along the scenic canals of Venice!
“This is a unique partnership that brings together our shared goal of empowering individuals to help transform people’s lives.” Stated Matthew Barsing the founder of the KLCC Runners Group which has over 30,000 members on social media and is now recognised as one of the largest running communities in ASEAN.

“KLCC Runners Group has become hugely popular with runners, from beginners to elite athletes, in KL and beyond, with busy social media pages and an ever-growing presence as Malaysia’s Largest Running Community. Together with support of our founding sponsor, Malaysia Australia Business Council & our partner, Twin Towers Fitness Center! we will be developing innovative ways to get Malaysia Fit, and best of all, make it a real fun experience.” Stated Matthew who was is also the Vice-Chairman of the Malaysia Australia Business Council.
Recent figures released by the World Health Organization (WHO) listed Malaysia as the fattest nation in Asia, with other related problems like high blood pressure and diabetes following in the wake of obesity. This has had a negative impact on both social conditions and the economy through loss of productivity, the KLCC Runners Group is doing its part to improve the situation, by keeping Malaysians active, which is more important now, due to restrictions from exercising outdoors!
