HKPC to organise “New Industrialisation Forum – Building a People-Oriented Smarter Industry” gathering industry, academic and research sectors to share insights and jointly promote industrial transformation and upgrading

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), as a co-organiser of the “2023 Digital Economy Summit”, Asia’s flagship event for innovation and technology, will hold the “New Industrialisation Forum – Building a People-oriented Smarter Industry” on 14 April (Friday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As one of the key events during the “2023 Digital Economy Summit”, the Forum will bring together internationally renowned representatives from industry, academia, and research institutes to explore how to promote the development of smart industry, share the latest trends in new industrialisation, jointly promote industrial transformation and upgrading, support enterprises to seize market opportunities and help the economy scale new heights.

The iconic architecture of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) stands proudly on the waterfront of Hong Kong’s world-famous Victoria Harbour in the Wan Chai District. This is more than simply a breath-taking location – it also places the Centre right at the heart of the city, within the Central Business District. Not only does the harbour location provide a spectacular backdrop to events but it also means Hong Kong’s Central Business District and the best of the city is on the Centre’s doorstep – and it’s a vibrant city packed full of colour and life. | Source: HKCEC
