We hope this contribution and this event today inspires more corporates to come forward to support the wonderful work that PPUM and PPUMcare do,” added Goh.
The PPUMCare Run 2022 yesterday raised RM 377,000 from generous contributors. Besides MR D.I.Y. Group, other contributors included DatumCorp International Sdn. In November 2021, the retailer contributed RM3.6 million of cash aid and free COVID-19 test kits to more than 12,000 undergraduates to help ease their return to campus post-pandemic. And also in 2021, the retailer collaborated with UMMC to build a multipurpose room called The ZONE for educational purposes and contributed vital sign monitors and personal protective equipment to the hospital to help frontliners deal with the demands of the pandemic.
