Deputy Minister of Works Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup said until 26 September, a total of 102,802 construction industry workers have received the COVID-19 vaccine through the Construction Industry Vaccination Programme (CIVac). He said the number involved 44,534 locals and 58,268 foreigners.
“This data does not include the number of construction industry workers who receive vaccines through other vaccination programs such as the National COVID-19 Immunization Program (PICK) and vaccination programs implemented by other ministries.
Arthur said the CIVac programme was implemented through the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) on July 1 involving five Industry Vaccination Centres (PPVIN) in five states.
