The Asia Art Show Sydney at Luna Creative Space Kingstreet Newtown Sydney boasts a talented and diverse group of senior individuals, including one such person by the name of Wardah. With a wealth of experience in strategy, leadership, and management, Wardah’s impressive career began as a tutor at Curtin University in Perth. Over the past 30 years, she has also been attached to several other prestigious universities.

Despite retiring from full-time academia, Wardah was inspired to explore the world of art. Despite having no prior background or experience, she began pursuing her newfound passion wholeheartedly. Although naysayers tried to deter her with negative comments, especially given the contemporary style of her work, Wardah refused to give up.
Determined to improve her skills, Wardah turned to free online classes and conducted extensive research on the finer points of the art world. As she delved deeper into her passion, she began selling her pieces to family and friends. Although most pieces were given as presents, her work still garnered plenty of admiration.
Indeed, Wardah’s passion for art has resulted in several notable commissions. She has created bespoke pieces for a boutique hotel and other clients. Now, she’s thrilled to be joining an art exhibition for the first time, thanks in part to the encouragement of Rita, the founder of Asia Art Show.
For Wardah, her success wouldn’t have been possible without the support of her loving husband, children, family, and friends. In her own words: “As long as people enjoy my art, I’m happy.” She is excited to showcase her creative endeavors at the Asia Art Show Sydney, alongside like-minded individuals who share the same passion and dedication for the art world.
